As mentioned [https://tcrf.net/Super_Mario_Galaxy_2/Removed_Objects here], ''Super Mario Galaxy'' and ''Super Mario Galaxy 2'' have an <tt>ObjNameTable</tt> archive/table file in BCSV format that lists Japanese names for a lot if not most of the games' filenames. While a lot of names match the ones seen in-game or in guides, there are some that appear to be early, such as Tarantox (クモキング) being <tt>TombSpider</tt> (トゥームスパイダー). I was wondering where these should be listed under the expanded additional names section. Some Switch games like ''Paper Mario: The Origami King'' and ''The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening'' also use something similar called <tt>glossary.msbt</tt> files in multiple languages, but those seem to be different as they align more with final/localized names and appear to be a reference for translators. :Hmm...are those Japanese names used in-game or in a guide, or are they unused Japanese names found in the game's coding? If the latter, then I'd ''guess'' in the Internal name template, but I'm unsure. ::I'm pretty sure it's the latter. There's a chance that they were used in older Shogakukan guides or elsewhere (I only have ''Encyclopedia Super Mario Bros.'' for these games), but that's unlikely. The <tt>glossary.msbt</tt> files in ''The Origami King'' and ''Link's Awakening'' also contain entries that for whatever reason never got used, but again, nothing particularly seems "early" there compared to the ''Galaxy'' games' <tt>ObjNameTable</tt>, which looks more like a reference file for developers rather than localizers. Feel free to message me whatever you want(as long as it follows MarioWiki:Courtesy of course)!
Microgame bugsPlease can you give more detail and preferably a source about these microgames being "broken"? Nightwicked Bowser 17:17, March 19, 2021 (EDT) Sure Thing! S o m e t h i n g o n e ! 17:20, March 19, 2021 (EDT)
UploadsHello, thanks for your uploads, though keep in mind that files need to include an image category and license in addition to a description. (I realise you used the text editor's uploader function to upload, but I suggest using Special:Upload in the future since it's easier to do this.) On the Special:Upload page, in the "Summary" box, fill in the "aboutfile" details (remove any unused parameters) and replace "{{uncategorized}}" with an appropriate image category link. To find it, go to Category:Images and follow the subcategories until you've found the right one (in the case of your most recent uploads, go to "Images by system" and you'll find "Nintendo GameCube Images") and add the link to the summary as Thanks for the info, im still a little confused on this whole wiki editing thing but this info will definetly help me in the future. thanks!{{User:Somethingone}} 08:39, April 13, 2021 (EST) Proposal votingWhen putting your vote in a proposal, you are supposed to type your username like this: #{{user|Somethingone}}, the signature only needs to be there if you are leaving a comment. Nightwicked Bowser 11:23, April 19, 2021 (EDT) Ok! #{{user|Somethingone}}
I don't you understood the above comment. Only use four "~" at the end of comments. NOT votes. Typing four "~" creates a signature with a timestamp. Do it like this. 16:18, April 21, 2021 (EDT) "Formatting"Do you happen to be using a grammar-check tool like Grammarly in your edits? If you are, please be more careful with it and try not to rely on it too much, as it's occasionally incorrectly fixing things on articles that were already correct before (e.g. changing "versus" (as in versus mode) to "verses", changing the phrase "plug in" to the word "plugin", omitting the space before the question marks in "? Block", and changing "colour" to "color" on a British English description). Mario JC 22:23, June 18, 2021 (EDT)
You're still doing this. False positives are still being picked up and quotes and descriptions keep getting changed. Please check over every grammar fix (or just correct the page yourself) or a formal reminder may be issued. Mario JC 21:41, June 27, 2021 (EDT) CactusActually, either is acceptable, though since Minecraft's updates say it as "cacti" we should indeed go with that for this case. (This is notably contrary to "octopi" just being patently wrong). Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:05, June 20, 2021 (EDT) VandalismWhat that anon did still counts as vandalism since it's blatantly replacing valid information with something unrelated. MarioWiki:Vandalism explains this more clearly. Nightwicked Bowser 15:49, June 21, 2021 (EDT)
Music filesIn case you decide to upload more in the future, music files must be trimmed to 30 seconds or less with a fadeout applied per Help:Media#Music clips. Mario JC 07:31, July 25, 2021 (EDT) Archiving proposalsYou keep forgetting to archive your proposals. Try to remember to do this from now on. 20:42, August 2, 2021 (EDT) About that blank image that I uploadedI apologize about it, I just wanted to add Singapore as a supported country (because it finally happened), but for some reason, this was the result. I was gonna report my error to an admin, but I just saw that you brought back the original image, so I just wanted to say that. Again, I'm sorry, I just wanted to bring an updated version of the image, but instead, I made a mistake. Gold Luigi (talk) 12:50, October 7, 2021 (EDT)
BIDDYBUD!!!!I like biddybuds too!
Toad"Toad" is a proper noun and should be capitalised, not written in lowercase. Mario JC 00:10, October 18, 2021 (EDT) Also, when adding headers, any words that aren't proper nouns or the first word of the header should be lowercase. Mario JC 00:11, October 18, 2021 (EDT) One more thing, opening parentheses should be preceded with a space (like this) and not stuck together(like this). Mario JC 23:00, October 20, 2021 (EDT) Please recall what I said here regarding capitalisation of headers. Mario JC 23:31, March 16, 2022 (EDT) Edit summary tonePlease don't keep typing in all caps in edit summaries like you are doing when fixing formality, this goes against MarioWiki:Courtesy. When fixing these, either just don't leave an edit summary at all or take it down a notch. Nightwicked Bowser 12:59, October 27, 2021 (EDT)
Monty Mole Mario Party SuperstarsHey, could you provide an image of Monty Mole in the encyclopedia from Mario Party Superstars? Also, know anything about Monty Mole being in Mario Party 4? MontyMoleLoreMaster (talk) 16:45, November 13, 2021 (EST)
Oh also are you good at ripping models? If so which consoles can you rip models from? MontyMoleLoreMaster (talk) 17:40, November 13, 2021 (EST)
Thanks, also could you get a screenshots of the parts in Yoshi’s Crafted World where the player has to hit several Monty Moles when they hit a timer cloud in order to get smiley flowers? MontyMoleLoreMaster (talk) 18:19, November 13, 2021 (EST)
About that google translate thing…What language did you translate Fizzlit’s article to? I want to know. OhoJeeOnFire (talk)
Adorable? You said Fizzlits are adorable in the summary of one of your edits. I like Fizzlits too! Is that what made you google translate it’s article? OhoJeeOnFire (talk)
Condolences?I gave my condolences to walkazo, who died. Did you give her condolences? OhoJeeOnFire (talk)

Yeah! It did! But I think it would look better with the {{br}} template in between each userbox. OhoJeeOnFire (talk) You can use these if you want.I’m currently making a Super Mario 3D World style profile picture, one that would work as the life counter and the character select screen. When I am done, I’ll inform you. OhoJeeOnFire (talk)
Muper Wario sikiI love that joke! I also figured out the secret code: this user thinks a chain chomp should eat daisy. Am I right? Or was that mixed up on purpose? OhoJeeOnFire (talk)
Congratulations! You earned a free Fizzlit for your great work! You also earned an Oho Jee because you are my friend. You also earned a Badge Bandit because they were having a “get two elemental characters get a Badge Bandit free” sale.
Guess what?I made myself an account for the Super Mario Boards! Isn’t that great? OhoJeeOnFire (talk)
Re: PattanThe name "Whimp.png" was fine as it was, so you didn't need to rename it. -- FanOfYoshi 13:13, December 3, 2021 (EST)
Your edit summariesHey, I've noticed you have had a pattern of abusing edit summaries, such as conversing with vandals, general pointless spamming nonsense, sarcastic remarks and filling it up with pointless ellipses, and general rudeness. Edit summaries are to be used to notify recent change patrollers of the changes you made to articles. It's okay to be fun once in a while, but keep in mind their general purpose and remember to be courteous to others, and do not engage with vandals outside of reverting their edits and notifying admins. Ray Trace(T|C) 14:44, December 8, 2021 (EST)
Re:SwapI mean they have exactly the same behavior, just with the aesthetic changed to fit the level theme. There are actually a lot of these enemies in Game Boy Donkey Kong. LinkTheLefty (talk) 11:33, December 9, 2021 (EST)
You need your daily dose of THE FUNNY!!!

Oho Jee’s translated article is so funny I laughed for hours!I love it! This is so funny! OhoJeeOnFire (talk) RE: ItalicsIf you're using an iPhone, follow this to turn off curly apostrophes/quotes. Mario JC 06:40, December 23, 2021 (EST) Merry Christmas!Reminder
Hello, I've noticed that you've been using edit summaries once again to conduct in generally, rude behavior. This is your first formal reminder (after your first two informal ones) to please stop, and remember to be courteous and respectful of other users. Ray Trace(T|C) 15:52, January 3, 2022 (EST)
My birthday is coming up!It is only a little more than a week until my birthday! OhoJeeOnFire (talk)
Warning
You have already been told both informally and given a reminder about your usage of edit summaries. Per MarioWiki:Vandalism#Dealing with a vandal, you shouldn't be engaging with vandals at all. Edit summaries like this and especially this are unnecessary. It won't make them stop and may even encourage them to continue vandalizing. Just revert the edit, report it to an admin, and move on. If you feel it's necessary to write an edit summary, a simple explanation like "Reverting vandalism" is sufficient, but don't interact with them. -- Too Bad! Minion Quest SnifitUnfortunately, MQ doesn't have Snifit Minions, with the ranged Shy Guys instead being Bandits. That being said, the enemy list has Spiky Snifit and Ice Snifit sorted away from the Chuck Guys, though it does the same with the Goombas, Beanies, and Pestnuts, which the game otherwise indicates are each a variant of the respective previous item. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:55, February 10, 2022 (EST)
Revision Note"All these new glitches are interesting *vigorously takes notes because personal project*" Thank you for the minor edits on the entries. I'm a bit new to doing this so I tend to miss small details. I'm curious what the project is you mentioned, not sure if this is the right area to ask about it though. *shrugs* If you don't want to reveal that it's fine, I'm just wondering since I only know a few people personally that even care about the glitches in that game. --Zaku (talk) 12:35, March 3, 2022 (EST)
Category orderPer MarioWiki:Categories#Order on pages, on articles, type categories like "Category:Dragons", "Category:Humans" etc. should go first in order of importance, followed by game-specific categories like "Category:Wario World enemies", "Category:Super Mario Bros." in alphabetical order. Mario JC 08:58, March 18, 2022 (EDT) Reference spacingThere shouldn't be a space before a reference, so Also, don't capitalise animal names that refer to real-life versions of them like "Hawk" or "Grizzly Bear". Mario JC 18:57, March 22, 2022 (EDT) TranslationsPlease stop translating the bios if you're not familiar with the language. There've been a few errors picked up and I can tell from you're using a translator of some sort to get the meanings. Leave them for someone else who knows the language to translate. Mario JC 19:13, March 22, 2022 (EDT) American Birdo and DaijitenThey took the English names from the credits, which remained in Super Mario USA. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 10:06, April 12, 2022 (EDT)
Re:Yoshi's StoryVine Slime is, believe it or not, named 「ドカンオバケ」 on pages 47, 49, and 50. Compare with Caged Ghost, except that's rendered in hiragana instead of katakana. In context, Vine Slime is clearly more slug-like than ghost-like. For reference, the source assets have actor_slime and actor_slug entries that may be Vine Slime and the slug, respectively. As for the next question, the closest it comes to describing Do-Drop's "acidic" quality is the sentence 「食べることもできるが、体力が減ってしまう。」 (You can eat it, but your strength will decrease.) on page 98 (why not when it's first mentioned on page 42, I don't know). The Shogakukan guide doesn't really give the enemies colorful descriptions beyond the scanned pages. LinkTheLefty (talk) 17:50, April 27, 2022 (EDT)
About Dark CrawIf you look at the LoO, it's just "Spear Crow," suggesting more of a "friendly Goombas have hats" type of situation than an actual subtype. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 13:26, May 20, 2022 (EDT) Chop chop
Internal Japanese namesAs mentioned here, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 have an ObjNameTable archive/table file in BCSV format that lists Japanese names for a lot if not most of the games' filenames. While a lot of names match the ones seen in-game or in guides, there are some that appear to be early, such as Tarantox (クモキング) being TombSpider (トゥームスパイダー). I was wondering where these should be listed under the expanded additional names section. Some Switch games like Paper Mario: The Origami King and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening also use something similar called glossary.msbt files in multiple languages, but those seem to be different as they align more with final/localized names and appear to be a reference for translators.
