The Sea Tower is a location in Paper Mario: The Origami King. It is a tower wrapped in the purple streamer, found on one of the islands in The Great Sea. The island itself is found in the northwest part of the sea, charted in territory B-1. The Sea Tower appears to be a shrine dedicated to all of the Vellumentals, featuring various towers and idols representing them throughout the way. Tape is fought atop the tower. There are no Toads in need of rescue here, aside from the Toads seen taped to the side of the tower, rescued automatically after Tape is defeated. Several puzzles from the Vellumental shrines and temples make a reappearance here.

History
After Mario has acquired the Power Orb, Wisdom Orb and Courage Orb from the corresponding trials on Diamond Island, he may insert them into the door, allowing him to enter the tower. Olivia notes the height of the tower and the purple streamer wrapped all the way to the top. When they see the four Vellumental idols in the entrance room, she becomes excited before quickly realizing they are just statues. The next room is much more advanced, requiring Mario to time his jumps between pillars sliding in and out of the walls in a certain pattern. Normally, there are steps in the Earth Vellumental monument's mouth leading up to the doorway in the Water Vellumental monument's mouth. However, the steps have been separated and the Water Vellumental's mouth shut due to a Sidestepper prying the Red Gem from a nearby statue. Mario must follow him into the adjacent rooms, corner him, and defeat him to recover the gem. Once it is inserted into the statue's mouth, the steps are reconnected, allowing Mario to head up to the second floor.

As Mario is rounding outside from one floor to the next, it becomes apparent several Toads are trapped to the sides of the tower. Unfortunately, there is nothing Mario can do at the moment. The first room of the next floor has large monuments of the Fire Vellumental and Ice Vellumental. The goal here is for Mario to make it to the Magic Circle behind the Fire Vellumental and use the 1,000-Fold Arms to send down a heavy ball, slamming the button on the back of the Fire Vellumental. This unleashes a burst of flames, melting the teeth of the Ice Vellumental, allowing Mario to exit this floor and advance to the next.

After passing by numerous Toads strapped to the wall, Mario takes a lift up to the top of the tower. Olivia quickly notices the purple streamer spool. However, as Mario approaches it, the large center elevator rises to reveal Tape, responsible for trapping the Toads. He sees Mario wanting to take down the streamer as a threat, believing streamers and tape are quite similar. After destroying both the tape roll and the dispenser, Mario reveals a Magic Circle allowing him to use the 1,000-Fold Arms to take down the purple streamer spool and, subsequently, the purple streamer.

At a lost for what to do and where to go next, Olivia notices the green streamer directly in the background. Mario must use the Magic Circles at the nearby Vellumental stands to focus them toward the center. This creates a large beam of light at the center of the tower taking them up to Shangri-Spa.

Layout
The Sea Tower is represented by a similar icon on the treasure map. During open sea exploration, the long-distance Warp Pipe is not seen outside the tower. Additionally, although they are not seen or fought inside the tower, several Fly Guys can be seen surrounding the outside of the tower. Notably, this is the only area in the game they can be found in. When Mario steps onto the island, the long-distance Warp Pipe appears and can be used to travel to any other long-distance Warp Pipes, provided they have also been activated.

Once Mario has obtained the orbs by completing the trials on Diamond Island, he may enter the tower. The entrance room has nothing more than an idol of each Vellumental. The following room is more complex. The first half of the section requires Mario to jump across sliding columns in a pattern, avoiding the spikes down below. The north end of this area
