Uploads
Hello, PaperMarioArtist. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must apply the proper license. A full list of licenses can be found in the file copyright tags category, but the following are the most common:
When uploading, select the license from the drop-down box below the summary text box, or add the license manually after uploading or if you're using the upload function from the text editor. For example, artwork of Mario would use {{character-artwork}}. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Don't include multiple copyright templates; choose the one that you feel best fits the file. If you continue uploading files without applying the correct license, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
Hello. Regarding your uploads:
- The file should be filled in with the appropriate information, including a license and category. Please read {{imagecategory-reminder}} and the above reminder for how to do so. I notice you're using the text editor uploader, but I suggest you use Special:Upload as it's easier to do this.
- Please give them more descriptive names, rather than using a default file name.
- Avoid uploading poorly cropped screenshots and passing them off as artwork. If you're just trying to just show Prof. Toad's expressions, a normal crop with the background intact is perfectly acceptable. Mario JC 03:50, July 27, 2020 (EDT)
