It has been requested that this article be rewritten and expanded to include more information.

Template:Infobox Mobile Golf was a Japan-only Mario Golf game, and was the last Game Boy Color type game of its type to be released in Japan. In terms of gameplay and storyline, it was very similar to Mario Golf (GBC). A Mobile GB Adapter could be used to play multiplayer games within a worldwide mobile phone network.

Like Mario Golf, it had four human characters to choose from at the beginning: Ken, Napple, Thread, and Lisa. They must be trained in the same fashion by playing golf in an RPG manner and gain experience. Players were also given the ability to unlock characters as well by beating them, such as the four champions of the game: Bean, Rozary, Powert and Bird.

Several characters from Mario Golf (GBC) could also be unlocked and played in story mode; either Kid, Gene, Grace and Tiny. Mario, Luigi, Peach and Yoshi also have cameos. It is also the last appearance of Foreman Spike in a Nintendo game.
