Template:Badge-infobox Heart Finder is a badge in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In Paper Mario, it can be bought from Merlow for twelve Star Pieces. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it can be bought from Dazzle for six Star Pieces and can be rarely dropped by Shady Koopas, Dark Koopas, and Elite X-Nauts after a battle. If equipped, more hearts (items that restore the HP of Mario and his partners by one) appear after a successful battle. This badge works alongside other badges that affect dropped items after battle, such as Flower Finder and Item Hog.

"I see...a Heart Finder Badge. There is a child upstairs in the fortune-teller's house on Shooting Star Summit. Hey! I'm that fortune-teller! Anyway, the child is my brother, Merlow. He will trade Star Pieces for Badges. Head upstairs to see him!"
