No actually your half right about the guard preventing status effects. Against the [[X-Yux]], the [[Guard]] doesn't work against immobilization. I have heard from a somewhat reliable source (a complete fanatic who has beaten the Pit before fighting Hooktail many times) that Bonetail's breath is not superguardable. Please remove that bit of trivia if someone finds it is actually possible. : Crud...now other forums say Breath is the one that can't be superguarded....Must I really go down into the Pit to confirm this one? My Superguard timing sucks anyway, so I probably couldn't discern the answer without, like you said, a debug device. Is there any confirmation on how the Smorg's attacks can't be guarded in the Japanese version? The Shadow Queen's are at least confirmed on The Cutting Room Floor to be unsuperguardable, and I can understand that since she's the final boss. The Smorg, however, does not have that distinction - besides it being a regular chapter boss (albeit a late game one), being unable to superguard its attacks isn't mentioned on TCRF, nor is it mentioned on the Smorg's regular page here (to be fair, though, it's not mentioned on the Shadow Queen's page either). Can someone take the "debug badge" mentioned above and capture footage of it? I don't care if it's of bad quality like a camera in front of a computer screen, I just want a source - Both so I can see it in action and confirm it myself, and for future reference as well.
