HI, readers! I'm your multicultural Co-director, Tucayo, here to get it started with our eightieth issue.

Quite the catchy tune. Anyway, this month we have been really busy getting ready for our traditional Holiday Issue, but that doesn't mean we don't have news, here they are:

• Last month we bid farewell to Crocodile Dippy (talk), who, in case you were living under a rock for the past couple of years and didn't know, was a key piece in the Core Staff as well as one of our best writers. All in all, Dippy helped The 'Shroom greatly in many different ways, and I can say with all certainty that we will miss him, it was a pleasure to have worked with him. We wish you the best in everything you do, Dippy.
• Replacing him we have another longtime member of the community and someone who started his 'Shroom career in issue XIII, Palkia47 (talk)! We are thrilled to have him in the staff, so welcome and congratulations!
• I have resigned from my position as What's on the Box? writer. Thanks to everyone who ever read it and special thanks to everyone who voted it Palette Swap SOTM for October!

And now go read this issue that will hopefully serve as a smooth transition to one of the biggest issues of the year!
