King Boo's Light Smite is a Boss Battle minigame in Mario Party: Star Rush.
Gameplay
To damage King Boo, players must jump and grab a Light Box and navigate through six platforms that spin either clockwise or counterclockwise. Peepas serve as obstacles and send players back to the start, deducting a point and making them lose their Light Box, if players collide with them. Players can also fall off, also making them lose a point and their Light Box. If players reach King Boo with a Light Box, they can deal some damage and earn one point. They then take a Warp Pipe to return to the start, where the process restarts.
At half HP, King Boo is enraged and causes the platforms to spin much more quickly. Large, golden Light Boxes also appear and deal more damage and give three points. They are, however, heavier than other Light Boxes, thus slowing movement. A player that deals the final damage that defeats King Boo gets a bonus of three points. After this, the players with the most points win the minigame.
