:What we saw a lot with of the ''Donkey Kong 64'' games post-TV-show is the TV show giving back to the games, like in the Crystal Coconut.  Since DK64 is the first game that refers to Klump as a general, the character from the show probably entered the games.  You saw the same thing with Krusha, the guy from multiplayer. {{User:Stumpers/sig}} 10:11, 13 June 2008 (EDT)

Manuals and supplementary materials tend to treat the Klump enemy as a singular entity, such as [http://www.gamesdatabase.org/Media/SYSTEM/Nintendo_SNES/manual/Formated/Donkey_Kong_Country_-_1994_-_Nintendo.pdf the DKC manual]'s story and enemy sections, [http://www.gamesdatabase.org/Media/SYSTEM/Nintendo_SNES/manual/Formated/Donkey_Kong_Country_2-_Diddy-s_Kong_Quest_-_1995_-_Nintendo.pdf the DKC2 manual]'s enemy section, and [http://www.gamesdatabase.org/Media/SYSTEM/Nintendo_N64/Manual/formated/Donkey_Kong_64_-_1999_-_Nintendo.pdf the DK64 manual]'s story section. Ya know, I was just reading the Klump (species) page, and it says that that "species" is actually a single character. If that's true, we should probably merge those two pages. - Ultimatetoad

What we saw a lot with of the Donkey Kong 64 games post-TV-show is the TV show giving back to the games, like in the Crystal Coconut. Since DK64 is the first game that refers to Klump as a general, the character from the show probably entered the games. You saw the same thing with Krusha, the guy from multiplayer. Manuals and supplementary materials tend to treat the Klump enemy as a singular entity, such as the DKC manual's story and enemy sections, the DKC2 manual's enemy section, and the DK64 manual's story section. Pay extra attentino to the last one; multiple generals are mentioned, but only a single Klump is specified. I think these other generals would be the ones K. Rool feeds to gigantic Klap Traps in one cutscene, as a singular Klump is among them. Anyways, it seems that officially, Klump is a singular entity in all material, and the fact that multiple of him can and do appear at once seems to be a case of good old gameplay and story segregation. I think a merge should be considered. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 01:54, 23 April 2018 (EDT)
