Layout
Captain Goomba and his squad come across a group of Beanies and a Rex. After defeating a group led by a Bob-omb and recruiting him, the squad comes across Ludwig and Lemmy, who are trying to find Bowser themselves. Captain Goomba attempts to explain the situation and recruit them to his squad's cause, but the two Koopalings arrogantly chew him out for being a Goomba and don't listen or believe him. Captain Goomba attempts to plead with them, but his efforts fail, and he laments how the entire situation played out, muttering, "Welp. That went poorly." However, he comes to the conclusion that he might earn the respect of the Koopalings, and possibly his entire squad and even the army, if he rallies them and rescues Bowser.
