Rabbids are a species of rabbits, originating from Ubisoft's Rayman franchise. Following their popularity, the Rabbids would go on to spawn their own series of titles, separate from Rayman, titled the Raving Rabbids franchise. While originally designed to be enemies, their roles have become more of protagonists. Their only crossover appearance with the Mario franchise is with Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, where four different Rabbids have been confirmed to be playable. An enemy subspecies of Rabbids introduced in the game is Pirabbid Plants, a mix between a Piranha Plant and a Rabbid.
