Vase-Based[1] is an enemy found in the game Virtual Boy Wario Land. Vase-Based is encountered in Stage 10, with an enclosed room where a vase is found. Whenever a vase is tipped to the side by Wario, a Vase-Based is released and will begin to jump around the room, attempting to harm Wario with its three spears. Wario can stun a Vase-Based by jumping on the unprotected part of the creature’s head, which temporarily blunts its spears.
