| More specifically, in main character articles like Peach, Daisy, Wario, and so forth, we usually go with what image is more appropriate for that page's character infobox. We don't need all of them to be replaced with their latest artworks (in your case, your attempting to replace them with their artworks for Mario Super Sluggers). --M. | == About the images ==
| | Oh hey, your work rewriting the Paper Mario series page is very much appreciated! However, I noticed the bulk of itis centered around the character sections; there's a forum thread on how merdique the series pages are and the concencus so far is to scrap the character sections entirely. |
| Cool. I use alot of kinds of emulators tho :P. Romsite has the exact same type of images you uploaded so the site you gave me must be the source for all the images on romsite.

| Did you download the DS emulator that I gave you ? It's in French, but you can find ALL the DS roms for ALL the regions ! It's like this that I've played Suepr Mario 64 DS in Japanese.
| | Obviously a forum thread is not the most accurate way to get concensus, so I'll make a proposal about this in the coming days. I'm adivising you of this so that you do not waste efforts on a section that may be scrapped in the near-future. --Glowsquid (talk) 11:23, 21 August 2016 (EDT) |
| PS: The emulator haven't the recent ROMs (for exemple: Sonic Chronicles).
| | :I don't believe that the character sections should be removed for the RPG series, as they are too relevant to the genre (unlike with the main Mario series, which are platformers with a much lesser focus on story or characters). I'm beginning with the character sections on the series page but I plan to work on everything I can eventually, just in case it seemed like I was only going to work on the characters page, so I won't mind if it needs to be removed completely. Anyway, thanks for the heads-up! Koopalmier (talk) 11:49, 21 August 2016 (EDT) |

| Hello, Koopalmier, can you say from where you got Super Mario Bros. 3s assumed Japanese title "Super Mario Bros. 3: Flying Racoon" (and it would be written "raccoon" rather than "racoon") that you added in the article? I never heard of that before. --Grandy02 13:18, 1 December 2008 (EST)

| :In case you didn't noticed it, there is a little of text under the Japanese title. A French Mario serious site (well, it's not a 13 years-old kid that made it) named Mario Museum. You will need a traductor. http://www.mario-museum.net/ (I don't really remeber where it's written)
| | Can you specifically point out where it's said that SMG2 is in a parallel world to SMG in the Japanese Wikipedia page you linked? I checked the story section there and all I got out of it is that it's another story about stardust. | ::I found a shot of the Japanese box art, but can't see an additional line there (スーパーマリオブラザーズ is just Super Mario Bros.). I visited the site you told about, and found this piece of text:
| |
| ::

| |
| ::Well, it tells that Super Mario Bros. 3 was later renamed in Japan to Super Mario Bros. 4: Flying Raccoon. However, that conflicts with the fact that Super Mario World was also officially known as Super Mario Bros. 4 in Japan. That piece of text really exists. I've never seen anywhere that SMB3 was referred to as SMB4: Flying Raccoon in Japanese, it is always called SMB3 and the western Super Mario Bros. 2 is always called Super Mario USA (otherwise, they had to rename this game Super Mario Bros. 3 by the logic of "Flying Raccoon"). I think one single fansite in the whole Internet that uses this title can't be used to back up the info, especially when it even conflicts true facts. --Grandy02 15:13, 1 December 2008 (EST)

| == Hi! ==
| |
| Yeah, Fawful is crazy! I'm really excited to see him in M&L 3. Wouldn't it be cool if he were in Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games?! If he were in it, I would play him every time and he could be good rivals with Dr. Eggman or Bowser!fawfulfury65 I HAVE AWESOMENESS!
| |
| :He's dead, so I don't think Nintendo would add him in M&S... Seriously, why do all the epic bad guys must die ?! Plus he was supposed to appear in the third saga of SMBZ... T.T Koopalmier 15:25, 8 August 2009 (EDT)
| |
| | |
| Well, Mario beat Bowser a ton of times and yet Bowser always comes back. Mario and Sonic at the Olympics is a sports game that does nothing with the M&L series. Besides, Alphadream and Nintendo could always find a way to bring back Fawful in a Mario and Luigi 4(If there ever is a Mario and Luigi 4). It IS so annoying that the awesome characters have to die!!! So, do you have a Wii? fawfulfury65I WILL RETURN!!!
