Face Ball[1] is an enemy seen in the game Virtual Boy Wario Land. They are only seen in Stage 10, within small rooms thoughout the level. Face Balls are a large levitating ball with a face that resembles a Phanto mask. They have two crescent eyes, a tongue and two fangs visible within their mouth. During gameplay, there are several rooms where pictures of Face Ball are seen on the walls of the background, with a real, unmoving Face Ball accompanying. The Face Ball will begin to flash and come to life as Wario approaches it. At this point, the path onward into the next room will be sealed. The Face Ball will approach the foreground and produce three Template:Conjecturaltext, smaller versions of the enemy with spikes protruding from their underside. Little Face Balls will synchronously float towards the ground, harming Wario if he makes contact with the spikes. If these Little Face Balls reach the ground, they will disappear. The Face Ball will then proceed with its next attack, which is to move across the stage while a wall of a harmful, flaming substance gushes out of its mouth. This substance will soon subside. It will repeat this attack one more, subsequently releasing three Little Face Balls once again. The gushing from its mouth can be interrupted if Wario bumps or stomps on the Face Ball. However, this will cause it to fly around the room and release another round of Little Face Balls.
