Hello, Userspace! The Super Mario Wiki sure is a great place, huh? We strive to have the most comprehensive articles and best resources available about our favorite plumber. This is done by having a nice mix of quality editing and a supportive community. Which brings us here. It has recently come to our attention that the vast majority of your edits seem to be on userspace pages (user pages, user subpages, talk pages, etc). While we understand how important it is to become known in the community, the wiki as a whole would benefit more from edits on mainspace pages (articles, categories, templates, etc). If you are unsure as to how you can help in the mainspace, you could:
Please don't take this as a discouragement from enjoying the community. The wiki is, first and foremost, for mainspace edits related to Mario. However, we do have other community geared channels, such as:
Together, we can make the Super Mario Wiki a fun and informative place for all. Thank you, and keep contributing! [[User:{{{1}}}|{{{1}}}]] ([[User talk:{{{1}}}|talk]]) This notice is official and is considered to be a permanent record focusing on the edit history for your account. This notice is not to be removed under any circumstances; any attempt to remove this notice will lead to a warning being issued. If this notice was not issued by an administrator and you feel you have received it in error, you may appeal it. |
Usage:
This notice is issued when a user violates the userspace policy, or more specifically, makes too many userspace edits. For userspace violations, use this code on a new section of the offender's talk page: {{Userspace|your username|0}}. If a user makes too many userspace edits, use this code: {{Userspace|your username}}. If the reminder has been appealed, add overturned=yes to the template coding. If the user who receives this notice does not adhere to it, then a warning may be issued, as explained here.
