Three Beanbean Knights talking with Mario and Luigi.

Beanbean Knights[1] are Beanish guards in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga that guard many locations in the Beanbean Kingdom. The majority of them are highly obedient of the royal family and very protective; they will not let anyone pass the areas they are meant to guard unless Queen Bean tells them to allow passage of certain individuals.

After the Mario bros. beat Tolstar, they are soon rushed by some Beanbean Knights. They claimed that Mario and Luigi kidnapped Prince Peasly, but fortunately Tolstar tells the knights that they are the legendary Mario and Luigi. The knights apologize, and mention someone mumbling about "fink rats", which turns out to be Fawful.
