Chewys are green-headed, purple leaved and stemmed Piranha Plants found throughout Bean Valley in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Chewys have roots that seemed to have evolved into primitive legs, giving them the ability to walk and run. Chewys can be quite nasty in packs and are usually accompanied by Shy Aways and other enemies. They can also use the attack "Pollen Nap", which can put Mario or one of his allies to sleep.
