The main enemies in this level are the Mechakoopas and the Rocket Engines. Near the end, there are Cannons and pipes that release Bob-ombs. The flames from the Rocket Engines can make them explode. The boss of the airship is Bowser Jr. in his Junior Clown Car. The player(s) must propel up with Propeller Blocks, or a Propeller Suit if a player is lucky enough to have one, and stomp on his head three times. After Bowser Jr. is defeated, Kamek will fly up with Bowser Jr. They will then eject Mario and gang from the Airship, which will fly away, forcing Mario to chase it to World 5.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: The Star Coin is located in a gap on the floor next to a Rocket Engine. Get it when the engine moves away.
  • Star Coin 2: Just after the checkpoint there are stacks of boxes blocking a green warp pipe. Ground pound the boxes to access the pipe to get to the bottom of the ship. Continuously jump on the screw to move forward and to prevent from falling off. At the end is the Star Coin.
  • Star Coin 3: Before the yellow pipe leading to the lower deck, the Star Coin can be seen. The player needs to light a Bob-omb near a box blocking the path to access the Star Coin, while looking out for the Rocket Engine on the ceiling. Alternatively, a player with a Penguin Suit can break the box with a well-timed lunge, or a player with an Ice Flower or Penguin Suit can freeze a Bob-omb and throw it at the box..
