A Green Fireball is Luigi's special item in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. It is said to be Luigi's trademark weapon (even though it is identical to Mario's Fireballs). This is not to be confused with the Green Fire, Luigi's kart in the same game.

It is also Luigi's B attack in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Although a clone of Mario's Fireball in appearance, it differs in color and effect. Instead of bouncing off the walls, the Green Fireball moves in a straight path, and will not bounce. It only does minor damage, but is helpful in far-away combat. Kirby was also able to use this move, but only if he sucked up Luigi's powers.
