Ummm....[edit]
- Do we really need to have this page? It previously only has a Partofpipe template. Kaptain K. Rool
Mario Bros[edit]
These were also in Mario Bros. Should we have a section for it?--[User:16-Volt 14:22, 11 November 2011 (EST)
Clean up[edit]
I think this page really needs a clean up and reorganizing because the header at the top states it's explicitly about Luigi's fireballs but then goes on to talk about different Green Fireballs in the Mario series such as Phantom Embers and Iggy Koopa's spells from the New Super Mario Bros. series and Super Mario Maker 2. - The header does state it's a projectile and most of the article is about Luigi's fireball. Do you think the more generic instances should be removed? That the focus should be about Luigi's fireballs? It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 14:14, April 22, 2023 (EDT)
- Yeah, remove the generic instances like Iggy Koopa's stuff and the fireball-shooting traffic light from the Super Mario World Cartoon and just clean it up to be about Luigi's fireballs because the article goes all over the place and appears to be about any green fireballs, not just Luigi's. - I see. But for particular projectiles like the fireball from Mario Bros and Super Mario 64 DS, which have a unique behavior compared to other fireballs, where should they be mentioned? It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 15:52, April 22, 2023 (EDT)
- The Mario Bros. one is already main-article-ing the Fireball (obstacle) page, where it's covered in more detail, so not much would be lost. As for Super Mario 64 DS, the same fireballs appear in the 64 original in blue, according to the Bowser article. The blue version isn't covered anywhere but the Bowser article, despite clearly being the same thing, so they could either be described in the normal fireball article, or stay with Bowser, since they only appear in the fight with him. Either way seems better than covering only the 64 DS design here. Blinker (talk) 17:29, April 22, 2023 (EDT)
- All right, thanks for clearing that up. Yeah, let's clean it up to be just the fire associated with Luigi. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 18:18, April 22, 2023 (EDT)
- I've gone ahead and tried to clean this page up some. I hope that's okay! Blinker (talk) 12:49, April 23, 2023 (EDT)
- Looks a heck of a lot better. Keeps the focus on Luigi's unique fireballs and doesn't go all over the place about every green fireball in the series. Nice job! PrincessPeachFan (talk) 17:17, April 23, 2023 (EDT)
- Welp, there goes my hardworking amount of research in time, effort, and contribute wasted for the most part. Wow. --KingGeoshiKoopshi64 (talk) 01:50, April 24, 2023 (EDT)
- Yeah, 'cause the article was going all over the place and a couple of us had already agreed that most of the stuff was better covered on other pages. And besides, the article was becoming borderline Generic Subject. PrincessPeachFan (talk) 13:06, April 24, 2023 (EDT)
