Check and X Barrels are special types of barrels that appear in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. The Check Barrels help the Kongs, while the X ones hinder them. These appear in a few levels with a Skull Cart. In Target Terror, they act as switches to open gates that are in the way. In Haunted Hall, there are similar barrels. Template:BoxTop
