7 TRACKS HAVE BEEN REVEALED SO FAR:
GBA Mario Circuit
GCN Dry Dry Desert
DS Tick-Tock Clock
Wii Grumble Volcano
3DS Music Park
3DS Piranha Plant Slide
3DS DK Jungle
That's:
SNES - 0
N64  - 0
GBA  - 1
GCN  - 1
DS  - 1
Wii  - 1
3DS  - 3
If Nintendo sticks to the tradition of the latest two games featuring 4, then that means we know 5 tracks of Wii/3DS returning besides the ones mentioned above. (And if we stick to 32 tracks)
Now, let's organize these tracks into their original cups.
Mushroom
* Dry Dry Desert
Flower
* Mario Circuit
* Music Park
Star
* Tick Tock Clock
* Pirahna Plant Slide
* Grumble Volcano
Special
* DK Jungle
So we already know:
Lightning
* Tick Tock Clock
These will most likely be the arrangements:
Shell
Banana
* Dry Dry Desert
* Mario Circuit
* Music Park
Leaf
* Pirahna Plant Slide
Lightning
* Tick Tock Clock
* DK Jungle
* Grumble Volcano
I'm not very sure about Music Park and Wii Grumble Volcano, but let's continue.
So far, we don't know about ANY N64 or SNES tracks. Let's face it - we're either going to get 1 or 2 N64 tracks, and it looks like Nintendo mostly cares about anti-gravity, so maybe 1 or 2 SNES tracks. I'm hoping for 1 N64 and 2 or maybe even 3 SNES tracks. But since Nintendo's taking advantage of graphics and stuff, we're likely to have either 1 or 2 SNES:
SNES - 2
N64  - 1
GBA  - 2
GCN  - 1
DS  - 2
Wii  - 4
3DS  - 4
Shell
Banana
* GCN Dry Dry Desert
* GBA Mario Circuit
* 3DS Music Park
Leaf
* 3DS Pirahna Plant Slide
Lightning
* DS Tick Tock Clock
* 3DS DK Jungle
* Wii Grumble Volcano
So we're likely to see:
SNES - Mushroom, Flower, Star or Special
N64  - Flower, Star or Special
GBA  - Mushroom, Flower, Star, Lightning or Special
GCN  - N/A
DS  - Mushroom or Flower
Wii  - Mushroom or Flower; Mushroom or Flower; Flower or Star
3DS  - Mushroom or Flower
SNES and GBA both have the biggest range - 3DS, Wii and DS both have the smallest, so let's see.
Cheep Cheep Lagoon from MK7 is...unfortunately...likely to return, because only one of the retro tracks revealed so far CAN feature underwater driving. Either that or Daisy Hills. I'm not sure.
Toad's Factory from MKWii is a likely candidate to return, for popularity and for anti-gravity. Either that or Moo Moo Meadows. I'm sure it will be Toad's Factory though.
I automatically chose Figure-8 Circuit for MKDS. I'm sure they'll think of someway to feature anti-grabiy.
So far, this is the MK7 Retro Tracklist:
Shell
* DS Figure-8 Circuit
* 3DS Cheep Cheep Lagoon
* Wii Toad's Factory
Banana
* GCN Dry Dry Desert
* GBA Mario Circuit
* 3DS Music Park
Leaf
* 3DS Pirahna Plant Slide
Lightning
* DS Tick Tock Clock
* Wii Grumble Volcano
* 3DS DK Jungle
Next, let's choose the second/third tracks for MKWii.
DK Summit is both popular and can feature anti-gravity and gliding sections.
Wario's Gold Mine....ugh, I really want Daisy Circuit and Moonview Highway, but thanks to Grumble Volcano...I have to choose this for anti-gravity and gliding sections.
So here's the list so far:
Shell
* DS Figure-8 Circuit
* 3DS Cheep Cheep Lagoon
* Wii Toad's Factory
Banana
* GCN Dry Dry Desert
* GBA Mario Circuit
* 3DS Music Park
* Wii DK Summit
Leaf
* Wii Wario's Gold Mine
* 3DS Pirahna Plant Slide
Lightning
* DS Tick Tock Clock
* Wii Grumble Volcano
* 3DS DK Jungle
Only 4 spots open. Now, let's check out the SNES/GBA tracks before I make my final decision for N64.
I really hope that SNES Mario Circuit 4 comes back. There are 2 spots for anti-gravity I could find, add some oil slicks, and an anti-gravity section and you have yourself a MK8 styled course! Keep your fingers crossed....I know that GBA Mario Circuit is there....but this is probably the track that I want the most to return.......
The other SNES track should be Vanilla Lake 1. The first crack should be turned into a big crack where you have to go underwater and then come out where the second crack is, to return to the finish line. Either that or fly over it... and there can be anti-gravity at the second turn, until you return to do the underwater/gliding thing....why am I obsessing over SNES all of a sudden?
Anyway, for GBA, there's one more...BC4. There. It has anti-gravity and gliding.
So here's the newly made list:
Shell
* DS Figure-8 Circuit
* 3DS Cheep Cheep Lagoon
* Wii Toad's Factory
* SNES Vanilla Lake 1 (get rid of the ice blocks)
Banana
* GCN Dry Dry Desert
* GBA Mario Circuit
* 3DS Music Park
* Wii DK Summit
Leaf
* Wii Wario's Gold Mine
* SNES Mario Circuit 4
* 3DS Pirahna Plant Slide
* GBA Bowser Castle 4
Lightning
* DS Tick Tock Clock
* Wii Grumble Volcano
* 3DS DK Jungle
That leaves one tight spot in the lightning cup....so let's see..
The only tracks left in N64 are:
* Toad's Turnpike - Flower
* Wario Stadium - Star
* Royal Raceway - Star
* Yoshi Valley - Special
* Rainbow Road - Special
Toad's Factory could easily be in the Leaf Cup...all the others could fit easily in the Special Cup....but which to choose? They're all in my Top 4 favorite N64 tracks...and coincidentally Toad's Turnpike is my #5. But which to choose? Even though Yoshi Valley is my favorite, I'll have to go with N64 Rainbow Road. Think about all the anti-gravity turns you could do in the loops....
So this is my prediction....for now...:
Shell
* DS Figure-8 Circuit
* 3DS Cheep Cheep Lagoon
* Wii Toad's Factory
* SNES Vanilla Lake 1 (get rid of the ice blocks)
Banana
* GCN Dry Dry Desert
* GBA Mario Circuit
* 3DS Music Park
* Wii DK Summit
Leaf
* Wii Wario's Gold Mine
* SNES Mario Circuit 4
* 3DS Pirahna Plant Slide
* GBA Bowser Castle 4
Lightning
* DS Tick Tock Clock
* 3DS DK Jungle
* Wii Grumble Volcano
* N64 Rainbow Road
TRIVIA
* This marks the first time that at least one track didn't appear already unlocked from the start from a game. (N64 Rainbow Road has to be unlocked)
* However, this was impossible, as Wii and 3DS both had to have two tracks in the beginning, and 8 - 4 = 4, and 4 + 2 = 6, I just did math for no reason. Why am I doing a trivia? I still have battle courses...
Anyway these are the Battle Courses I think will return.
SNES - 3/4 left
N64  - 1/4 left (N64 is great game = N64 overrated = less tracks in future)
GBA  - 2/4 left
GCN  - 3/5 left
DS  - 2/4 left
Wii  - 0/5 left (that's alot)
3DS  - 0/3 left (you'd expect that)
Since we need to take advantage here, let's use 5. No, not 7, because....well actually I don't know. I'll be happy with 5.
SNES - yes (Only one was used; this game is ancient - we need to use another)
N64  - yes (I'd save no, but this won't have any spotlight - besides, I'll be happy if they use Choco Mountain's theme again - let's hope they don't use the battle theme for the 2nd time in a row)
GBA  - no (Like SNES, except I want to get this game extinct once and for all - was my thoughts before I wanted more N64)
GCN  - yes (I don't see why not)
DS  - no  (It's only 4 games old and if we use one more then there will be one left - give this game a break)
Wii  - yes (Wii was awesome, plus 0/5 were used - that has to be a record or something)
3DS  - yes (I don't see why not, besides the battle courses in this game weren't as enjoyable as the past few games - the retro ones were actually my favorites - but I seriously don't see why not)
So these are my predictions:
SNES - Battle Course 2      (I seriously don't know why, but sure why not)
N64  - Double Decker        (duh...it's the only one left! anti-gravity too)
GCN  - Luigi's Mansion      (anti-gravity)
Wii  - Funky Stadium        (I like BP and DP better but this one can have gliding and anti-gravity)
3DS  - Wuhu Town            (I swear I thought of this before GBA Mario Circuit was announced, the U could be anti-gravity)
