Template:Levelbox Waterspout Beach, or Sparkling Waters-1, is the first course of Sparkling Waters in New Super Mario Bros. U. It is unlocked via completion of Morton's Compactor Castle, and its own completion unlocks Tropical Refresher.

Layout

Water Spouts constantly rise from the waters below and create platforms for the players to stand on. Additionally, players can use Ice Mario to freeze Huckit Crabs and toss the frozen foes through Water Spouts to collect coins or Star Coins.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: In plain sight, jump off a Water Spout to reach it.
  • Star Coin 2: Shortly after the first Star Coin, freeze a Huckit Crab with the Ice Flower and toss it through the Water Spout to reach the second Star Coin. Otherwise, freeze a nearby Cheep Cheep and use it as a platform to reach it.
  • Star Coin 3: Use the POW Block when the Water Spouts rise to safely collect the third Star Coin.
