Birdo using her Suction ability.

Suction is a unique ability used by Birdo in two games, Mario Superstar Baseball and Mario Super Sluggers. Suction allows Birdo to grab balls from distances away from her, much like Yoshi's Tongue Catch. Whenever Birdo uses this ability to catch flying balls, she gets a Big Play.

Suction returns in Mario Super Sluggers, renamed Suction Catch. However, there are no missions specifically centered around her Suction Catch, unlike Yoshi's Tongue Catch. Also when you think of it, the suction ability is the same as Kirby's Swallow Attack. Template:BoxTop
