Golden Cheep-Cheeps first appear in World 1-4 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Only several can be seen throughout. They can be defeated with Fire Flowers and Ice Flowers.
New Super Mario Bros. 2
In New Super Mario Bros. 2, when Mario touches a Gold Ring, the Cheep Cheep becomes a Golden Cheep-Cheep. If defeated, five coins appear.
New Super Mario Bros. U
Golden Cheep-Cheeps reappear in New Super Mario Bros. U. Once again, they swim in groups and they are difficult to dodge.
