Hot Shot

Drain is a magic special attack in the game Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. The Drain attack only targets one party member. This attack is unblockable and has a magic power of four. It also has the secondary effect of healing health equivalent to how much damage is caused. Equipping Amulet will cut the damage in half, while equipping Safety Ring, Lazy Shell, and Super Suit will negate Drain completely. Drain is a fire-based special move and its animation shows a fireball being hurled towards the enemy. As such, the users of Drain are enemies with the power to manipulate fire, such as Bahamutt, Chewy, and Pyrosphere. A stronger, but non-healing version of Drain exists called Mega Drain.
