The Challenge Space is a type of space found at least once or twice on every game board in Mario Party 8.
Landing on this space will challenge the player to one of three minigames: Stampede, Fruit Picker, or Pour to Score. If the player loses the mini-game, they get nothing. If the player wins the mini-game, they get to throw a dart at the dart wheel to either earn five, ten, or twenty coins, depending on where the dart lands.
