Pakkun Flowers are enemies similar to Piranha Plants, that were found in Sarasaland during the events of Super Mario Land for the Gameboy. Like their cousins, they too will emerge from Warp Pipes to attack and eat foes (in this case, Mario). Jumping on it is as big a hazard as with other species of Piranha Plants, and should be avoided at all costs. They are weak against superballs though.

It should be noted, however, that the original Japanese name for a Piranha Plant is Pakkun Furaw, with Furaw essentially translating into the word flower. That means that Pakkun Flowers in the Japanese version of Super Mario Land are in fact just regular old Piranha Plants.
