Block]] that instead immediately turns into a Zombie Shroom, targeting the hero and dealing two damage with each hit. They have low HP &ndash; one jump defeats it. There's a stronger variant of this enemy, the [[Ghoul Shroom]].

Zombie Shrooms, like [[Poison Mushroom]]s, are purple-colored. The item [[Ghost Shroom]] also resembles Zombie Shrooms. Zombie Shrooms also drop five coins when defeated.
