They are pudgy creatures whose noses are constantly running. Yetis normally move back and forth, but when [[Wario]] comes near, they stop to walk and fire an icy breath at him that moves horizontally. When hit, Wario becomes [[Frozen Wario]]. Yeti can be defeated by any of Wario's attacks and can be grabbed and thrown as well when they are stunned. For defeating a Yeti, Wario is rewarded with a Bronze [[Coin]]. Unlike other enemies that cause a special status, a defeated Yeti does not respawn when Wario re-enters a room.

In the level [[Fiery Cavern]], it is shown that they are related to [[Iwao]]s, since the latter creatures will become Yetis when Wario jumps on the [[Switch (Wario Land 4)|switch]] and the temperature radically changes.
