Wario Land 3[edit]

Silky
Wario trapped in a Silky's string.

In Wario Land 3, a Silky normally crawls back and forth. If Wario's feet are to the left or right of it, it will start spewing thread from its mouth. In the case where Wario is behind it, it will turn around, only spewing thread if Wario's feet is in its line of sight after turning around. It keeps spewing thread until it has to turn around, gets attacked, or if Wario touches the thread and becomes Ball o' String Wario. They are vulnerable to any attack as long as Wario is not directly in front of them when they spew thread.

Silkies appear in the following levels, in the following quantities:

Silky reappears in Dr. Mario 64. In Story mode, Dr. Mario faces Silky as his fourth opponent. During the events of the pursuit of Mad Scienstein by both Dr. Mario and Wario, Silky was happily crawling in the woods until both Mad Scienstein and Wario runs its way, frightening it into moving faster, though they runs past it, much to its relief. Dr. Mario runs up to Silky and waited behind it, who got a fright after seeing Dr. Mario behind it, initiating a battle. As an opponent in Vs. mode, Silky has the second-lowest AI level, tying with Appleby, Jellybob, and Octo.
