It is a large worm whose name is a pun of "Artemisia_absinthium." Wormwould guards the Yellow Music Box in The Grasslands's Gray Chest. In battle, it always emerges on the side opposite of where Wario is. Wormwould's main attack is spitting rocks at Wario, who is forced out of the arena if hit by one. Wormwould stops attacking from being either hit by a Smash Attack or stomped on, making it retreat without being hit. Wormwould's movements speed up after each hit, and after the second hit, Wormwould would only partially pop up from the ground. Wormwould can defeated after taking three hits from a Smash Attack.

His main attack is to spit rocks to hit Wario. If he's hit, he'll have to restart again. To defeat it, Wario has to use his Ground Pound on Wormwould's head, when hit enough times, it'll fail and then, some vines will be grown to allow Wario to get the first music box.
