The World of Nothing is the setting of Chapter 6-1 (when visited the second time) from Super Paper Mario. It is the result of The Void's destruction of Sammer's Kingdom. Unlike the other levels of Super Paper Mario, this version of 6-1 has no title; "World of Nothing" comes from The InterNed as the name of the background music (which is generally the same for the world it comes from in the game).
The World of Nothing is the setting of Chapter 6-1 in Super Paper Mario after The Void destroys Sammer's Kingdom. The world is almost completely blank&mdash;an off-white screen with thin black lines at the borders of the ground. The few remnants of Sammer's Kingdom are scattered sparsely across the world.

After the game is beaten, Sammer's Kingdom is restored to normal and the World of Nothing becomes inaccessible.
Chapter 6-1 (Untitled)
After easily beating Mimi in Sammer's Early Duel's (after morphing into King Sammer and attempting to kill them with a bob-omb), they realize Mimi wasn't trying to beat them, and noticed her plan all to late -- she was trying not exactly kill them, but to delay them from claiming the Pure Heart. She succeeds, and the heroes past through gates without fighting, and the world ends. However, Tippi manages to transport Mario, Peach, Bowser and Luigi back to Flipside to  save them.

Chapter 6-1
Still needing the Pure Heart that King Sammer had possessed, Mario decided to try reentering the Blue Door, confused as to why it still remained. To his horror, he found Sammer's Kingdom completely obliterated; not just the kingdom, but the entire space-time continuum. All that remained was a black line for the ground. In a blank, white void, Mario occasionally came across completely black ruins of the kingdom, buried in the nonexistent ground.
After the Void expands to the point of consuming Sammer's Kingdom in Chapter 6-2, Tippi warps the heroes back to Flipside. However, they notice that the dimensional door leading to the world is still there. Since they still need the world's Pure Heart, the heroes enter the door and are shocked to see that all that remains is a blank world.

After traveling through the world for a while, the heroes find the Pure Heart, which has been drained of most of its power and turned to stone. Mr. L then appears, takes the Pure Heart, and fights the heroes inside his upgraded Brobot, Brobot L-type.
No life was to be found as Mario trudged on and on. It seemed to take forever, yet there seemed to be no end of the strange abyss. Just as he was starting to think about heading back, though, Mr. L (a brainwashed Luigi) appeared and took the Broken Pure Heart just for "kicks". Mario and Mr. L then battled; Mr. L wielded an improved model of the Brobot, the Brobot L-Type. It was a fierce battle, but Mario won. All was not to cheer, though. The Pure Heart was no more alive than its original possessor, King Sammer. The stone-turned Pure Heart was useless in its current state, so Mario and his friends somberly left to see what Merlon would suggest to do.

After Mr. L is defeated again, Mario and the others return to Flipside with the petrified Pure Heart to consult Merlon about what to do with it. Shortly after they leave, Mr. L regains consciousness and is visited by Dimentio. Dimentio knocks Mr. L out, sending him to The Underwhere and reverting his consciousness to Luigi.
Shortly after they left, however, Mr. L returned to consciousness, only to be visited by Dimentio. Dimentio proceeded to give Mr. L a Game Over, sending him to The Underwhere. Dimentio then appeared before Mario, Princess Peach, and Bowser in Merlon's house and did the same thing to them.

Storyline text
Until The Void was destroyed (along with Tippi and Count Bleck, the World of Nothing served no purpose and had no reason to be entered.
<blockquote>The destruction of an entire world was a great and terrible tragedy.

But Mario and his allies had survived the cataclysm and found another Pure Heart.

The end of that world had dulled the shine of the Pure Heart they had found.

Was the Pure Heart's power lost forever?

The heroes set out for Flipside to find out...</blockquote>
