It becomes accessible after the player clears {{world-link|8|fort|World 8-Fortress}} and its own completion opens {{world-link|8|bowser3|World 8-Bowser's Castle (Super Mario Bros. 3)}}. It is automatically accessed when the player moves over its icon on the map.
==Layout==
Like with the first tank level, this level autoscrolls, though only the tanks move. If the player is standing on the ground, they will not move with the screen. This level has a small tank with a [[cannon]] in front leading a group of three longer tanks, armed with more cannons, [[Bob-omb]] launchers, and [[Rocky Wrench]]es. Additionally, small [[Airship]]s lined with cannons attack from above. If the player can make it to the final tank and go down the [[Warp Pipe]], the final fight with a flying [[Boom Boom]] will commence.
