The '''Winter Tour''' is the eighty-eighth tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on January 25, 2023 and ends on February 7, 2023. It features the introduction of three [[New course|city courses]], namely [[Singapore Speedway|Singapore Speedway 3]], [[Bangkok Rush|Bangkok Rush 2]], and [[Bangkok Rush|Bangkok Rush 3]], effectively making this the first tour since the [[Halloween Tour (2019)|2019 Halloween Tour]] eighty-five tours prior to introduce three race courses to the game, the first tour to introduce three city courses, and the first tour to introduce multiple routes of the same city together. Like the [[Summer Festival Tour]] (sixty-three tours prior) and the [[Mario vs. Peach Tour]] (thirty-nine tours prior), the tour also features the return of [[Tour Tokyo Blur|Tokyo Blur]] courses. The inclusion of the game's three {{wp|Asia}}n cities in the tour, as well as Singapore Speedway 3 taking players through the {{wp|Chinatown, Singapore|Chinatown}} section, may be a reference to the {{wp|Lunar New Year}}. This tour is one of three tours to have all its race courses be city courses all set in the same continent, after the [[Metropolitan Tour]] (sixteen tours prior) and the [[Autumn Tour (2022)|2022 Autumn Tour]] (six tours prior), which were set in Europe and North America respectively.

A Winterfest begins in this tour, which will take place in both this tour and the next tour.

Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in [[Bangkok Rush]] in the [[Mii Cup]] using [[Mii|Roaring Racer Mii Racing Suit]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
