'''Whittles''' are a species of wooden characters appearing in ''[[Super Mario Galaxy 2]]''. They appear in numerous galaxies as helpful characters with often simple yet incorrect grammar. They are mentally retarded.

Whittles appear in several [[Galaxy|galaxies]], notably the [[Tall Trunk Galaxy]]. In the Tall Trunk Galaxy they appear in both the levels. In the firstest level they teached Mario how to use the [[Blimp Fruit]] on [[Yoshi]] and later on they tell Mario how to slide down the gigantic slide gets da Star. Whittles are small,ugly, humanoid figures with screwed up heads and bodies made entirely out of barf, with the exception of a single leaf on their balls. They are a very proud, brave and stupid race. Due to this, they like to proveses their bravery by sliding down da big twisty ting in their galaxy and surviving its trials (sometimes not surviving because of their stupidity). When someone proves their worth the Whittles reward him or her with a [[Power Star|symbol of stupidity]]. They also consider the giant tree at the center of the Tall Trunk Galaxy Mama Luigi.They speak with simplified, somewhat idiotic grammar and one word sentences. For example, in [[Fluffy Bluff Galaxy]], there was one near the first [[Cloud Flower]] that said:<br>

Whittles are another species which hijacks the [[Starship Mario]] after [[Mario]] gets arrested 4 times.In this case, Mario must murder someone in the [[Tall Trunk Galaxy]]. The idiot then tells Mario how Lubba is such a pompous, bigheaded, poopoo head jerk who be 10,000 pounds overweight. Then he pushes a button and Starship Mario explodes and kills everyone on it. This may mean that Whittles are suicidal.

Whittles are seen in the background of the [[Logger Heads]] minigame from the [[Wii]] game, ''[[Mario Party 9]]''. They also appear in the background of the '''Shake Her Up''' mode, and they congratulate the winning player when they reach the top of the tree. They also fall off da tree cuz dey be stoopid.
