'''Whirl from the Freezing Pond''' is the fourth mission of [[Snowman's Land]] in ''[[Super Mario 64]]'' and ''[[Super Mario 64 DS]]''. The objective of the mission is to reach the ledge beyond the [[freezing water|freezing pond]].
==Layout==
Past the freezing pond with the [[Spindrift]]s in the course is a ledge that is too high to [[jump]] over normally. Jumping onto one of the Spindrifts in the water sends the player [[Spin Jump|spinning]] in the air, allowing them to get over the ledge. If the player is playing as [[Luigi]], using his [[Backward Somersault]] will have the same effect. He and [[Mario]] can also [[Triple Jump|triple-jump]] to get over the ledge, and [[Yoshi]] can [[Flutter Jump|flutter-kick]] to get over it. The player can also use [[Hoot]] to get over the ledge. Once the player is over the ledge, the [[! Block|yellow block]] on the left contains the [[Power Star]].
