'''Water Shooters''' are devices appearing in ''[[Super Mario Galaxy]]'' and ''[[Super Mario Galaxy 2]]''. They look and function in a very similar manner to the [[F.L.U.D.D.#Squirt Nozzle|Squirt Nozzle]] used by [[F.L.U.D.D.|FLUDD]] in ''[[Super Mario Sunshine]]'', though Water Shooters are blue, while FLUDD is yellow, and the water produced is in the form of a [[bubble]], rather than a spray. These bubbles, while harmless, capture [[Mario]] or [[Luigi]] and whisk him away on contact, generally serving as a hindrance, but occasionally are used to transport the player elsewhere. If Mario or Luigi is caught in a bubble, using the [[spin]] breaks him out.

Water Shooters appear in the [[Space Storm Galaxy]]'s [[To the Top of Topman's Tower|second mission]], which is more or less based upon the [[Buoy Base Galaxy]]. They are in the first section with the fast-moving floor. They also shoot bubbles faster than before, though they can be slowed down with a [[Ground-Pound Switch]]. They also appear in the [[Starshine Beach Galaxy]] and [[Honeyhop Galaxy]].
