The '''Wario vs. Waluigi Tour''' was the sixty-second tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on January 26, 2022 and ended on February 8, 2022. This tour was the sixth to feature a Team Rally event, pitting Team [[Wario]] against Team [[Waluigi]]. The tour featured the addition of [[3DS Wario Shipyard|Wario Shipyard]] from ''[[Mario Kart 7]]'' as a new [[classic course]], being the first Team Rally since the [[Peach vs. Daisy Tour]] twenty-five tours prior to introduce a new course; as well as introducing [[Wario's Mustache]] and [[Waluigi's Mustache]] as [[glider]]s. The tour was also the third tour to not introduce new drivers, following the [[Bowser vs. DK Tour]] and the [[Holiday Tour (2021)|2021 Holiday Tour]], the second tour to not introduce new karts after the [[Hammer Bro Tour]], and the first tour to introduce only gliders.

This tour's [[Coin Rush (Mario Kart Tour)|Coin Rush]] course was [[3DS Neo Bowser City]], which was reused from the [[Baby Rosalina Tour]]. The menu's background featured a sunken ship from 3DS Wario Shipyard as the landmark for this tour. Like the [[Toad vs. Toadette Tour]] six tours prior, the theme color in its trailer consists of only one color, being yellow.

The Winter Celebration event began in this tour. It included an upgraded [[#Token Shop|Token Shop]], with High-End items like the [[Wild Wing]], [[Starchute]], [[Bruiser]], and [[Rainy Balloons]]. Additionally, the tour introduced a set of [[List of challenge cards in Mario Kart Tour#Winter Challenges|Winter Challenges]] which rewards the High-End [[Princess Peach|Peach (Wintertime)]] upon completion. The event, just like previous similar events, lasted for three tours, ending in the [[Sky Tour]].

Starting from this tour, the [[Carrot Kart]], [[Black Cat Cruiser]], [[Dragon Wings]], and [[Snow Crystals]] are available in regular tour pipes, including the All-Clear Pipe.

Team Waluigi finished with 53% of the tokens and won the Team Rally event. The title screen of the game was changed to one featuring the team's victor for the duration of the [[Sky Tour]], up until the release of version 2.12.0.

Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in [[RMX Choco Island 1|RMX Choco Island 1T]] in the [[Baby Mario Cup]] using [[Dixie Kong]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
