When worn, it turns [[Mario]] into [[Vanish Mario]] for 20 seconds. In this form, Mario can walk through enemies, metal fences, and certain walls. The Vanish Cap music is the same as the [[Wing Cap]] music. To use a Vanish Cap, Mario must first press the [[Cap Switch|Vanish Cap Switch]] in the course [[The Secret Under the Moat|Vanish Cap Under the Moat]], which activates [[Cap Block|blue block]]s.
