There are [[Chargin' Chuck]]s with shovels that throw rocks called Diggin' Chucks, red-shelled [[Koopa Paratroopa]]s, some [[Spike Top]]s, and [[Cheep Cheep]]s. Completing the level normally unlocks the way to [[7 Larry's Castle|#7 Larry's Castle]], while its [[secret exit]] unlocks the way to [[Star World 5]] and the [[Front Door]] of [[Bowser's Castle]]. | |

| In the beginning, there is a [[Chargin' Chuck|Diggin' Chuck]] and a red-shelled [[Koopa Paratroopa]]. After that the player will find another Diggin' Chuck next to a blue [[Warp Pipe]] and a Yellow [[! Block]]. Then there is some [[lava]] and more Koopa Paratroopas, followed by a green Warp Pipe and a [[? Block]] that contains a [[Vine]]. If the player goes down the Warp Pipe, there will be an [[ice]]-coated cavern with one [[Dragon Coin]], a few Spike Tops and Cheep Cheeps that swim in the water. There is also a ? Block that contains a [[Super Mushroom]] or a [[Cape Feather]]. On the other side there is another Warp Pipe that backtracks to the blue Warp Pipe that they saw before.

| Up the Vine, the player will find a ? block that contains a [[Yoshi]]. The player can either choose to dive down the small pit, or to break the [[Rotating Block]]s to go down. There is a hidden [[1-Up Mushroom]] if the player chooses to go down the yellow blocks. Later, the player will find the [[Midway Gate]], and many more Diggin' Chucks.

| Right before the [[Giant Gate]], there is a [[Key]] encased in a closed off receptacle inside of a wall just before the exit, with a [[Keyhole]] right above it. The Key can only be obtained via Yoshi's tongue to grab it through the wall.
