The VS Space returns in Mario Party Superstars and Super Mario Party Jamboree. It is now blue with the "VS" on it. When landed on, it functions like a Blue Space; namely, the player who landed on the space gets 3 coins (even in the last 5 turns) and their panel turns blue. Then, it functions like a Battle Space, as a 4-Player minigame is played. In Super Mario Party Jamboree, the boss minigame associated with the current board can be randomly selected instead if it is already unlocked. If the total number of coins waged is less than 10, Toad adds 10 coins to the jackpot. Once the minigame concludes, the relevant space becomes a regular Blue Space for the rest of the game. The coin distribution for a VS Space is different in Mario Party Superstars and Super Mario Party Jamboree than it is in Super Mario Party. The distribution is as follows:<ref>ZXMany (May 10, 2022). What if ONLY VS Spaces were in Mario Party Superstars? YouTube.
