A Sample Shroom Review

Hi,and welcome to this month's issue of The Shroom!Today I will be reviewing the slightly-new Nintendo DS game Mario and Luigi:Bowser's Inside Story!

Mario and Luigi:Bowser's Inside Story is yet another M&L RPG.Some basic plotlines follow.

Gameplay

Mario and Luigi:Bowser's Inside Story,or Mario and Luigi RPG3,has average gameplay ability.Using the Nintendo DS,players move their characters using the Control Pad.This aspect is unique,however.Players can control not only Mario and Luigi,but Bowser as well!Mario and Luigi still have their Special Moves,and so does Bowser! A and B are used to jump,normally,for Mario and Luigi.X and Y are used to make Bowser punch and Breathe Fire (he can't jump).All in all,it is pretty decent.

Graphics

The graphics are also rather average,just like most other Mario RPG games.It is 2-D inside Bowser,but '3-D' outside of him.Not too shabby!The battle sequence is normal,the enemies are based of such things like vitamins and biffidus.Mario and Luigi strike a humorous dance when it is the other character's turn.Ah,Nintendo.

Story Mode

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST STORYLINES I HAVE EVER SEEN!From the hilarious beginning to the part where Mario and Luigi get flying out of Bowser,the plot is NOT a letdown.Mario,Luigi,and Bowser keep attaining new Field and Special Moves,eventually trigering a cutscene.This never,EVER gets old.

Other Modes

Other modes other than the storyline are okay,but most need potential.The only place Mario and Luigi can go for extra challenges is the Challenge Node.There you can only do the 99-Block Challenge and the Special Move area.One of my personal favorites is the Gauntlet.It lets you battle stronger memories of bosses!You end up gaining more than you spent doing it.But in the end,the other modes are severely lacking.

Summary

Mario and Luigi:Bowser's Inside Story is a more toward excellent(but decent)RPG.This one has its fans,but it would personally not be the game I want the most.Its a great game,and so I rate Mario and Luigi:Bowser's Inside Story an 8.5. YoshiTron 19:35, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Genius review

I like it. Your style could use some slight tweaking though. A). space after punctuation. . , : etc. B) Try writing it a bit more like an article. Go a bit more for details, rather than emotions. e.g. "THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST STORYLINES I HAVE EVER SEEN!" It could be improved to say: "This storyline was probably the best one I have ever seen!" Slight modifications make a good review amazing. And the only reason I'm not writing yet is because I haven't figured out where to write for. Back to the original point; your article is very good (I haven't played the game, so it's good to know how someone else likes it), but just add some more information (e.g. funniest quote) about it to make the article even better. GG445 "...?"

Hello!I'm here to rate some of the most well-known Mario games.Yours might be missing,I'm sorry,but these are my true favorites!Enjoy!(If you want a game to be rated,leave a comment in the space provided,please!)

• Super Mario Bros. *Rating:2/5

I like some classics but not really this one.The Overworld theme is okay,but then it gets extremely annoying after a while.Not exactly the best...(Remember,these are my opinions,so if you don't agree,feel free to leave a comment!)

• New Super Mario Bros. (REGULAR) *Rating:3/5

Great graphics,and witty ideas are what make this game one of the best Nintendo DS games.Unfortunately,they're balanced out by repetitive gameplay.(Come ON, Peach!Can't you get out that Golf Club and whack Bowser Jr. back where he came from?!)And plus,the last boss is PATHETIC!

• Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door *Rating:4.2/5 (Sorry for being so exact!)

A very nice RPG-style!From a great storyline,to memorable characters,this is almost as good as Mario gets!The gameplay at times can be a bit difficult (like the Glitz Pit!Well,it's not hard,but it sure is annoying!),but excellent nonetheless!The final boss,the Shadow Queen,is a too tough,but the music is fantastic!

• Super Paper Mario *Rating:4/5

Pixls are the new addition,along with flipping.It IS a little rushed,as Nixonia says.But what's not to love about this game?Except for the dreaded 29-or-so block challenge in the Land of the Cragnons,basically Chapter 5.Also,if you answer incorrectly in some questions,you could get a Game Over!

Images Smaller

First off, please post on my actualy talk page, not the Archive I just made. You can just make a new section on my current page. There is 100% chance I'll see it there, but on the archive, there is the possibility I might miss it. Anyway, you can make the pixel level smaller. If a picture's coding looks like this: [[File:bowserslumapi.jpg|thumb|right|200px]] it will look like the first image.

If you change the pixel size, shown with the 200px, you can make it smaller (or larger). Typing [[File:bowserslumapi.jpg|thumb|right|100px]] will make this second image,

which is noticably smaller. There you go! How to make an image smaller. If you need any more help, just ask. Have a good time editing and such! Bowser's luma 23:24, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

I would really like to buy something from your shop, it could be like a minigame on MW, and I could have my own shop at User:Young Master Luma/Shop (please don't create it for me), but I wanna know if it's alright to have pages just for that... Also, it would be awesome to be able to earn some money myself, so maybe my shop will be like... a pet store! Pet Goombas, Goomb-Os, Poochies... The possibilities are endless! I like the idea! Oh I hate it when people ask me that. There are way too many that are way too different to compare. Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Pokémon, Pikmin, Animal Crossing, Star Fox, the Wii series. I also like games that are made by other companies like Sonic, Ace Attorney, Professor Layton, Tales, Kingdom Hearts, Tetris, etc. I consider myself a hardcore gamer. Never played any Metroid or Dragon Quest. I will get VI at launch because I have been meaning to start that series. I have a Wii and a DS along with a GBA to play GB/C games. I preordered the 3DS.
