Stop inserting obvious/unneeded info, please
Just a heads-up -- many of the edits that you've made on certain articles have been reverted because they were deemed as unnecessary and are not worth really mentioning on the articles themselves. Next time on your edit attempts, make sure to question if any info you plan to add is really worth the time to do such a procedure. Thank you. --M. C. - "Mario Gals" Fan! Mario Tennis Open edit reversion
Actually, that case you did in terms of the Mario Tennis Open article was still deemed an unnecessary edit, especially since the game itself is still in development. What we usually do is when the game itself gets released, that's when we'll see about placing the characters in the correct order as how the game itself present them. Thanks for your concern about the matter. --M. C. - "Mario Gals" Fan! User Page | Talk Page 07:10, 15 March 2012 (EDT)

Artwork
- Where did you find the artwork that's in File:Klaptrap.png? If it's fan-made, then it's not allowed on any mainspace pages. You can use fan-made images as your personal images though. M&SG (talk) 07:48, 9 April 2012 (EDT)
Hey
Please try to use correct grammar. If you're not from an english-speaking country, I won't mind. Master R.O.B.
Just so you know... (Notifying staff of sockpuppet talkpages pages to be deleted)
There's really no need to let the staff know on their talk pages right away if you detect that there are sockpuppet talk pages to be delete. Just mark those sockpuppet talk pages with the delete tag; they will notice it on their end and handle the cases accordingly. Thanks for helping us out on the matter, however. --M. Re:Spamming talk page deletion request

Just mark the talk pages for deletion, and the sysops will delete them sooner or later. Master R.O.B. (contribs · edits)
- I'm sorry. I'm deletion marked that talk pages on before 10 days, but that user's talk page is not deleted. Windy Walk
RE:Mario Kart 7 Daisy and Waluigi
I don't think they are necessary. --SmartieMaxx 11:30, 19 July 2012 (EDT)

RE: Level offense template
Yes, it's true that the template should have been a Warning. But you are not allowed to alter other user's comments; it's a warnable level two offense. Please don't do it again. If you think that the template should be changed, contact Lindsay151, as she issued the Reminder.

Just so you know
Hi, I noticed some of your recent edits where you removed redundant categories from articles; cutting down on redundant categories is great, but as specified here and here, we want to do this by keeping categories on the articles themselves and removing them from any navigation templates that they're used on.

Mario Tennis Power Tour voices
Care to explain your reasoning for your recent edit? I've grouped characters together based on the clips they use and which are shared between them. For example, Roy's clips are also heard in Flit, Elroy and Dweezil, and Sylvia's are shared with Sophia, Tori and Sheri. The reason why I linked Sylvia and the other three girls I just mentioned to Fleming instead of Taylor is because they came from the character Kate from N64 Mario Tennis, whose closest voice matches to Azalea from Mario Golf and Daisy in Tennis makes her Fleming. Furthermore I did not consider Jen Taylor as a source because none of the clips from the female characters seemed to come from her. If there's something I missed then please explain. Thank you. Kyubihanyou (talk) 15:39, 27 September 2014 (EDT)
- While they may be so most of the clips are clearly from the same source, so excluding the ones you did (especially Gary as being from Burns when Burns is not credited [he would have had to record new stuff to have been his voice {and if so, it would have applied to others as well}]) from the rest is something that just tells me you're pursuing personal beliefs who no genuine evidence whatsoever. Kyubihanyou (talk) 13:45, 29 September 2014 (EDT)
Stubs and Courtesy Violation
One or more pages that you have recently created have been deleted or marked as a stub article. Please consider the following ideas and suggestions when expanding/creating an article:
|
The Mountain Course article you made is a stub, so it is getting deleted. Speaking of Mountain Course, I was supposed to create the article, along with rewriting Mario Golf course articles. As per MarioWiki:Courtesy, you can't edit snipe, which you had done. (Merry Christmas!) 17:12, 15 October 2015 (EDT)
Unnecessary additions
I see it's been a while since you were told this, but please refrain from adding unnecessary comments like this. There's no point to it. 20:54, 8 March 2018 (EST)
DKP Kremling
That's actually Kritter, not Krunch. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 21:49, May 15, 2022 (EDT)
- Checking the internal data, his name is Krunch. See HUD from Hex data image. Windy (talk) 22:22, May 15, 2022 (EDT)
- Huh, they must have changed it interim between 2001 and 2003 builds, but all right then. Might wanna make a note of that somewhere accessible regardless, especially since the 2003 one in the same plane is exclusively called Kritter. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 00:38, May 16, 2022 (EDT)
File:Diddy Kong Pilot cover.png
Can you please provide the source for this image? Mario JC 22:43, May 27, 2022 (EDT)
- Rareware official site didn't listed the any boxart. Archive This placeholder boxart is found out in "****pure.cc". By the way, the ESRB is inconsistent with 10+ at the time. Which was introduced in 2005, but the placeholder artwork was in 2001. Star Fox 2 had a placeholder boxart, but this was exhibited in CES 1995. Earthbound Beginnings didn't get an official box art until February 2022. Anyway, many custom box art used. So I marked the deletion for above image. Windy (talk) 04:24, May 28, 2022 (EDT)
RE:Template creation
I was actually just about to message you regarding this. This wiki has different policies regarding unreleased media than Lylat Wiki, and if a navtemplate has a minuscule number of blue links, then it pretty much serves no purpose. Then again, it would be next to impossible to add content to fill those links, since this is an unreleased game we're talking about. (T|C) 09:57, July 5, 2022 (EDT)
RE: DKP
I doubt that will happen; we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Mario JC 23:45, July 18, 2022 (EDT)
- DKR has not been re-released to other platforms yet. Looking at Smash's Banjo-Kazooie joins the battle and inclusion of his game in the Nintendo 64 - Nintendo Switch Online, it might be possible. GBA library is urgent. Windy (talk) 23:53, July 18, 2022 (EDT)
Categories
Remember to categorise and license your uploads like with your past uploads. Also, please try to work on your grammar on articles as it's occasionally difficult to understand what you're trying to get across. Mario JC 00:11, July 23, 2022 (EDT)
- I'm also not good at any language ability including first, so please understand it. Windy (talk) 04:38, July 23, 2022 (EDT)
Unused uploads
Make sure you use your files within 24 hours of uploading them, otherwise they'll be subject to deletion if there's no place for them. Mario JC 04:26, July 29, 2022 (EDT)
Determiners
You need to use determiners "the" and "a" more before nouns. "A" is used to introduce non-specific things (e.g. "in an early build"); "the" is used to refer to specific things (e.g. "in the 2001 build"). The only times you wouldn't use them are for names (e.g. "in Super Mario Bros."), so "in early build" or "in options mode" is incorrect. Mario JC 06:42, September 4, 2022 (EDT)
Re: Kong article reversion
I've been removing that stuff as a while ago there was a discussion about saying things along the lines of "hasn't appeared for a decade" (I can't find it for the life of me now), and the consensus was that articles shouldn't really include that as it can become outdated quickly and would need to be updated regularly, even if the character still hadn't appeared or there wasn't anything else wrong with the article. BBQ Turtle (talk) 04:11, September 5, 2022 (EDT)
Fixing signature
It would be fixed in Preferences section. Blanking the tab "New signature:" that contains "SUBST". ~~~~ is now fixed. Windy (talk) 10:01, October 1, 2022 (EDT)
Proposal support
By the way, I just noticed that you forgot to support your own proposal. For future reference, you are supposed to add it even when you are the proposal creator. If you stand by it, you need to indicate it with a support vote. LinkTheLefty (talk) 14:34, November 27, 2022 (EST)
Warning 2
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (attempting to enforce a failed proposal) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site. If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
The outcome of the proposal was not to include the non-spirit latest appearences, so they should absoloutely not be added. Also, please stop attempting to disclose the Kongs not appearing in years as that has already been removed many times before, can already be inferred from reading the article, and just isn't really noteworthy in general. Nightwicked Bowser 20:40, December 3, 2022 (EST)
- I was disappointed that the proposal was failed twice in a row. As we should know they haven't appeared in over 10 years. Windy (talk) 20:47, December 3, 2022 (EST)
- Got edit conflicted for Waluigi Time's Lanky Kong edit (which was exactly what I tried to do), so I'll leave what I put in the edit summary here. If that table is going to be kept, then it still shouldn't single out Smash appearances. Nightwicked Bowser 21:02, December 3, 2022 (EST)
K. Rool in Banjo-Pilot
You've added this fact in multiple times and have not elaborated or provided a source each time. As a rule of thumb, please cite references for every single piece of obscure information like pre-release and unused content (this includes edits like that part about Pilot being shown in G-Force magazine).
