SMK release date

Please provide a reliable or official source before repeatedly changing the release date on the Super Mario Kart article after it has been reverted, as your edit contradicts the current reference (Smash Bros. Wii U's Masterpieces mode). Your anonymous edit also removed valid content and is not how a reference is removed. Mario JC 06:30, January 26, 2022 (EST)

Actually, this is the date that's listed on Smash Wiki's Super Mario Kart page, so I think this user may have gotten the info from Smash Wiki, which is probably wrong. WildWario (talk) 06:36, January 26, 2022 (EST)

Redoing edits

As I mentioned in my summary, this type of animation is not that uncommon, and a similarity alone doesn't constitute a reference; it needs to be intentional to be a reference, whereas this may likely just be a coincidence. Please check over your edits after making them. Your edit on Super Mario Odyssey misused the {{file link}} template and incorrectly added references. Make sure you understand how the templates and code work and preview your edits by looking over what you added before proceeding to save them, and if you need help, ask or leave a note in the summary. I also previously reminded you about treating similarities as references and reverting edits without reason or checking the history page. Transforming into other entities is not unique to Odyssey, and if an edit of yours has disappeared, it's likely because it was reverted, not because it didn't go through, so please don't repeatedly force the same edit without checking around first, otherwise a warning may be issued.
