Italics[edit]
Hello, Teteu0904! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros.
If you are using a device that uses curly ("smart") punctuation, you may need to disable this function in your device's settings to be able to type out the correct apostrophes. |

File summaries[edit]
For future uploads, {{uncategorized}} needs to be replaced with a category link depending on the image type and the game (in square brackets); example:
[[Category:Mario Kart Wii screenshots]]
For the aboutfile parameters like "Other versions (use file link)", you don't need to say "No other versions", you can just remove the line entirely. Mario JC 07:21, March 22, 2025 (EDT)
Hello, Teteu0904. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, images related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]]or one it its subcategories. Media files would use: [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |

Warning[edit]
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (not properly filling in file summaries) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site. If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
Please follow the instructions I gave you above when uploading. And to add a reference for a name in the foreign names table, you add a "C" parameter based on the language and number (so for "PorA2", it's "PorA2C") and add a citation:
|PorA2C=<ref>{{file link|Example.png}}</ref>
You can look at how other articles do it to get an idea of how to format it. If you're still unsure about anything, don't hesitate to ask. Mario JC 08:35, April 3, 2025 (EDT)
