Images[edit]
Hello. If you wish to add an image of a Shiverian to the article, or a higher quality image to replace the current one, you need to upload it first. You must be autoconfirmed first to upload files, however (i.e. you must have your account for at least four days and have made at least five edits). Mario JC 01:16, 10 July 2018 (EDT)
Italics[edit]
Also, when naming game titles, keep in mind that they should be italicised. To do that, you just add two apostrophes before and after the title (e.g. for Yoshi's Woolly World, you type ''[[Yoshi's Woolly World]]''
). Thanks and keep contributing. Mario JC 03:15, 10 July 2018 (EDT)
A few things.[edit]
First: When editing pages, in order to not have 30 or so consecutive edits on one page while attempting to format, hit the "Show preview" button at the bottom of the editing page. Second: We do not want trivia about how certain things resemble so-and-so random unrelated character. That's subjective and doesn't matter in the slightest. Third: When someone removes something you put down and states a reason for it, don't just put it back. Fourth: Onions and flower buds do not look alike. Anyways, if you continue doing these things you will eventually receive a {{reminder}}. Thank you for your time and have a nice day. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 02:46, 11 July 2018 (EDT)
- Also, when making small edits like this, please remember to mark them as minor by ticking the "This is a minor edit" box above the "Save page" button (more information here). Please also review what I said above regarding italics as it's an important editing guideline; failure to follow that as well will result in a reminder. Mario JC 02:57, 11 July 2018 (EDT)
Reminder[edit]
Please stop making too many consecutive edits on one page / not marking small edits as minor on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing. If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
You've been continuing to make strings of consecutive edits to a single page, most of which consisted of small syntax tweaks to the information you added, which were also not marked as minor. Please make good use of the "show preview" button in the future, especially if you're unsure how the page will turn out after you save it. Mario JC 05:53, 15 August 2018 (EDT)
Warning[edit]
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (making multiple consecutive edits to a single page in a short timespan) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site. If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
You're still ignoring the above reminders. All of these edits could have been saved in one bulk edit if you used the "Show preview" button. Please make use of it. Mario JC 23:35, 28 August 2018 (EDT)
- Please also note that the {{character infobox}} uses the subject's most recent artwork (see the template page I linked for more info). Sprites and 3D renders don't go in the infobox. Mario JC 23:40, 28 August 2018 (EDT)
- Unless there is no artwork for the subject at all. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 23:45, 28 August 2018 (EDT)
Last warning[edit]
This is your last warning. The next time you break the rules in any way, you will be blocked from editing the Super Mario Wiki. If you feel this last warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
You're still make consecutive edits without previewing them first. Mario JC 01:46, 17 November 2018 (EST)
