Peach Parasol[edit]

Just FYI, the Peach's Parasol glider link is Peach Parasol (glider), not just Peach Parasol. Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Mario JC 02:17, April 10, 2023 (EDT)

Galleries[edit]

Don't forget to add the gallery links to Template:Galleries if you do make more in the future. - RHG1951 (talk) 21:39, June 1, 2023 (EDT)

Please follow what RHG said here and remember to add the links for the galleries to {{Galleries}}, this way more users are able to access them. Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Mario JC 00:28, June 25, 2023 (EDT)

New stub[edit]

One or more pages that you have recently created have been deleted or marked as a stub article (Air Swim). Please consider the following ideas and suggestions when expanding/creating an article:
  • Before saving a new page, be sure that you have put as much effort and information in the article as you can.
  • Make sure that the page follows all of the rules that are outlined in the Manual of Style.
  • Perhaps upload a few images that can be used on the article.
Please don't take this notice as a dejection; this is just an informative notice and we encourage you to keep contributing.

Please don't create a new article with only a single sentence. If you don't know anything about the subject, do that before creating it or leave it for someone else who does to create it. Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Mario JC 07:15, June 30, 2023 (EDT)

Neek's gallery[edit]

I don't think there are enough images of Neeks to justify a gallery. Even if you include the images that were otherwise left out of the gallery, you would only have twelve or so images. Per the guidelines on MarioWiki:Galleries, you should only consider making a gallery if there are enough images on the main page's gallery to justify doing so. BMfan08 (talk) 14:54, July 8, 2024 (EDT)

Echoing what BMfan08 said here, unless you plan to add a lot more images soon, please don't create separate galleries if there's only a handful of images per section. Gallery:Kick for example is far too small for one. Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Mario JC 08:49, July 10, 2024 (EDT)

I don't think gallery pages should be made for characters/enemies that only apppear with one game such as Goombario. I would suggest you slow down with splitting off gallery sections and put more thought into if there would be enough images for a whole page. This especially applies to media file pages. If there are only a handful (about as much as a sample of images in a gallery section), it's not worth creating a separate page to hold those four or five media files. Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Mario JC 07:49, August 5, 2024 (EDT)

About Template:Voice clips[edit]

A couple days ago, there have been concerns on whether the (veeeery short) Template:Voice clips is better suited to be merged with the already similar Template:Media, or rather whether it's even needed for the various (veeery short) voice clip list pages to even exist (considering the character gallery pages already cover said voice clips already). Since you are the creator of not only said template, but also said list pages (without really discussing with anyone about it), I feel like it should be important for you to join in the discussion at Template talk:Voice clips and raise your concerns and justifications why these (veeery short) template and pages can exist on their own... instead of, you know, ignoring these concerns for two days (for goodness' sake, I have not placed a {{Merge to}} template on your Voice clips template for it to be ignored.
(PS: Speaking of short pages, a lot of the gallery pages you've made are also veeery short, making me question if splitting them off their respective main pages is even necessary. You've been notified before about making veeery short and unnecessary gallery and media file pages, so I suggest to slow down with the creation of gallery pages like Nightwicked Bowser told you before.)

Please join the discussion at Template talk:Voice clips, instead of continuing to ignore it; it concerns your template and your pages. ArendLogoTransparent.pngrend (talk) (edits) 16:21, August 14, 2024 (EDT)

Reminder[edit]

Please stop creating excessive short voice clip pages on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing.
If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it.

At this point I'm going to have to straight up ask you to hold off on creating anymore of these pages. Their existance has been called into question and at the moment consensus is they're not worth keeping. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 14:34, August 15, 2024 (EDT)

Miniscule galleries[edit]

Hi! Please don't create categories that only have a few subjects for them. Category:Hoppycats is an example of this, and so it had to be deleted. Only create category pages if you know they have plenty of characters/places/objects etc. Category:Wonder subjects is an example of a category page being adequate. link:User:Sparks Sparks (talk) link:User:Sparks 16:42, January 25, 2025 (EST)

I would suggest you read MarioWiki:Categories#Size and scope. Start off by listing/counting variants in the infobox, then only consider making a category when they become too many.

Remember that category pages should also have categories themselves, then when you add the new categories to pages, make sure to remove the category you added to the new category page, as it's now redundant (e.g. Category:Swoops belongs in Category:Bats, so when you add the Swoops category to an article, remove the Bats category that was previously there).
