Or just an experienced knowledgeable user. Anyway, it's perfectly acceptable and even appreciated if you upload high-res shadowless artwork here. Remember, in wikis, be bold. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 20:48, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
Haha! Yes. I will shortly. Or, when I'm allowed to.
It says that I cannot overwrite this file. This is wonderful. 21:12, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
Well it's on any artwork page, but I want to add a new one for this image. It says "*You cannot overwrite this file."
- How big is your file? Have you tried shrinking it a bit? To link an image without displaying it, insert a colon (:) just right before "File:", so the link appears like this. Finally, try signing your comments with ~~~~. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 21:21, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
Well, it's 5120x5120, 350dpi, approx. 31mb. Thanks for asking!!! ~~~~. User:MamaWario 21:31, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
- The images you're uploading is exceeding the file size limit in the wiki. Try shrinking (and cropping if possible) the image to 10 MB or less. For a reference, this image is the biggest artwork-related file in the wiki. Finally, you don't need the nowiki tags to sign. Just hit ~ four times.. It's me, Mario! Well, wow. Okay, though that's an awfully small limit. Well, I have other HD renders; Kirby, Pikachu, Rosalina, etc. User:MamaWario --MamaWario (talk) 21:41, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
- Yeah, you should upload them. Can you at least crop them, or are they tightly cropped? Because you might be able to salvage the resolution while still going under the limit by cropping. Either way, even if you end up shrinking them, the images' resolution will still likely be bigger and with transparency to boot, so I still highly recommend you upload them nevertheless.
