Hi, regarding the "Ice" obstacle article you created, where did you get its name from? Just curious. 22:56, July 22, 2022 (EDT)

Hi, Gunther. I noticed your inclusions of the level and world icons for the Yoshi's Island series in Template:Chart icon. Not a bad idea, but have you considered trying to incorporate them into Template:World instead? I think it should provide a for focused integration of what you want, I think. I also worry about the other template getting too large. (No worries if you do not want to do that - just thought I would throw that out there.) I may also reach out to Ray Trace if you are planning any major overalls of the Yoshi's Island articles. A lot of the baseline work on those articles was done by her. Cheers! - Nintendo101 (talk) 08:50, May 15, 2024 (EDT)

I've noticed for the Galaxy tables you've been shrinking images to a near-unparseable 100px. While I see you are using mobile, that is too small on a standard desktop/laptop screen - As a non-sprite, it might as well not be there at all at that size. :Sorry. My bad. What's the size you would recommend? 17:27, October 9, 2024 (EDT)
::Tell me the maximum image size that you would recommend. 17:36, October 9, 2024 (EDT)
:::I'd generally go with 200px maximum, 140px minimum, with preference towards the larger end. It depends on the type of image, really. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:58, October 9, 2024 (EDT)
::::Thanks. 18:05, October 9, 2024 (EDT)
:::::Also, in regards to the star icons, you generally shouldn't be shrinking sprites at all. Put them back to normal size, please. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 19:32, October 9, 2024 (EDT)
:::::NVM, I found a better solution. You can go back to the chart-icon template, I fixed the issue it had. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 19:42, October 9, 2024 (EDT)
:::::OK, said solution was rejected. I guess just keep it as-is. ^-^;; Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 23:19, October 9, 2024 (EDT)

Please do not link the site where you're getting the song clips from when uploading, as that could potentially lead to legal issues. You can just leave that part of the summary blank. Technetium (talk) 12:06, November 17, 2024 (EST)

Bowser Time
You made this edit to the Bowser Time article back in January, in which you added that the event where Koopa Kid fails to steal any coins in Windmillville has a 1% chance of happening. Where did you get this value? Did you personally dig into the game's code, or did you get it from someone else? Either way, you need to provide a source for that, since it's not something that can be discerned from just playing the game. 11:09, December 16, 2024 (EST)
:I did neither. I tagged this page with a rewrite tag with a specific problem being that how much chance of Koopa Kid failing to steal any coins is missing. 11:33, December 16, 2024 (EST)
Templates
Hi, GuntherBayBeee. I hope you are having a good holiday season. I deleted the SMG trading card template you made out because we really do not need additional, hyperspecific templates like this on the site. These templates can be very difficult to edit later on, and can be user unfriendly. As a general rule of thumb, if your template cannot do anything different from what a normal wikitable can, it is probably not necessary. I recommend raising a proposal first before trying to make or integrate something like this again in the future. - Nintendo101 (talk) 18:44, January 2, 2025 (EST)
:Okay. I'll start over with a proposal. GuntherBayBeee
Template:A
Hey, thanks again for liking one of the new features that one of my proposals has brought about. As far as has told me, it can't be used on pre-existing links, but rather to assist others as they are typing up articles or outside of mainspace in general. From what I understand, I think that the use of the template has to occur in context, that is when one is editing for a reason other than to replace the links. If an article needs to be rewritten, I'd assume the usage of it would be more acceptable since it would help you with the rewriting process, especially for very long links like the Mario & Sonic games. Hopefully Nintendo101 can provide more clarity on the matter, and if so the documentation be made more clear on when it's allowed to be reused and when it's not allowed. == DKC3 GBA ==
For the sake of consistency, I like that it's been added to DKC GBA enemy. However, if I may ask, what data of enemies in DKC3 GBA differentiates from the other two? For example, the enemies in the first GBA game Donkey Kong Country has not only scrapbook locations but also DK Attack scores. the third Donkey Kong Country lacks distinct variables. Super Mario RPG (talk) 14:29, January 18, 2025 (EST)
:The <code>page</code> and <code>photo_location</code> variables are for enemies that appear in every Donkey Kong Country game for the Game Boy Advance except Donkey Kong Country 3 for the GBA. 14:36, January 18, 2025 (EST)
::Okay, I asked Mario to see what she thinks, since the data and variables associated with enemies in Country 3 (for example, the levels in which they appear) are no different from regular platformers, creating a problem down the line for consistency between all three remakes. Perhaps the templates could be split into DKC enemy, DKC2 enemy, and DKC3 enemy (especially since the template may suggest some of the data is exclusive to certain enemies), but we should probably be given the green light from the staff before we may do that. Super Mario RPG (talk) 14:46, January 18, 2025 (EST)
:::Okay. So an idea for a proposal it is. 14:48, January 18, 2025 (EST)
::::I don't recall the SMG boss templates being made with proposal input, so perhaps not. Super Mario RPG (talk) 14:49, January 18, 2025 (EST)
::::Just don't do anything (proposal or enact the template to DKC3 articles) until we hear a response from Mario or another staff member. Super Mario RPG (talk) 14:52, January 18, 2025 (EST)
"Mario vs. Donkey Kong for Nintendo Switch"
I didn't know there was an actual template to shortcut the naming of games, as I saw in Donkey Kong Plus article. Though I'm not sure if this could be used yet as this has not been applied yet to other Mario vs. DK articles as of now. I should note though, that for consistency I'd prefer if naming the Mario vs. DK remake subsection in the Gallery should be formatted as like "Game title (console name)", especially for remakes that share the same name as the original game. --CyonOfGaia (talk) 22:36, January 20, 2025 (EST)
Appearances tables
The way you're making those, on my screen at least, causes the section headers for "appearances" to be split between two or three lines - depending on how long the header text is - when they are minimized (ie, by default). Anyways, it does not look good at all, so I'd advise against it. The divs I'm using do not have that problem.
